Responding to Covid
The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic represents an unprecedented challenge to health and our buisness, but we have put safeguards in place to help our staff and and you, loved ones this time.
PPE
PPE is distributed for use whenever required. It is adequate for the work place hazards, and is maintained in a clean and reliable condition.
Vaccine
We abide by government policy Everyone working in care homes to be fully vaccinated under new law to protect residents. Our staff are regualrly tested with covid tests.
Get a Kit
There are different tests you can get to check if you have coronavirus (COVID-19). The test you need depends on why you’re getting tested.
The 2 main tests are:
- PCR tests – mainly for people with symptoms, they’re sent to a lab to be checked
- rapid lateral flow tests – only for people who do not have symptoms, they give a result in 30 minutes using a device similar to a pregnancy test
Both tests are free.
